Michael Saab began his career with Glenmark as Director of Property Management in 1986. At the time, Glenmark was a nursing home facility owner and operator. Within nine years, Glenmark grew to become the largest nursing home and related ancillary service company in West Virginia. During that period, Mike was directly responsible for maintaining the daily operations, safety, and purpose of each nursing home facility. Mike’s role grew and evolved as Glenmark sold its health care holdings and forged ahead with its construction and development arm. Mr. Saab’s duties now find him as Director of Property Management for over 600,000 SF of owned property. Through his hands-on experience, Mike is able to assess situations and react accordingly to a tenant’s concern or need. Mike’s dedication and know-how often finds him personally responding to any crisis that pops up night, day, or weekend.
Michael Saab stepped in to fulfill the role of Director of Construction / Northern Division, when Glenmark Holding expanded its operations into South Carolina in 2006 and transferred Fred Bierer to head up development in that region. Mike’s transition into the role was swift. With strong foundational skills already in place, he has proven to be the right man for the job.
As Director of Construction / Northern Division for Glenmark Holding, Mike is in charge of taking projects from inception to fruition. He creates and maintains the contractor’s scope of work, plans and controls project budgets, and negotiates bids. Mike hand-picks his subcontractors to maintain Glenmark’s high standard of excellence at an affordable price.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Saab has seen just about everything in the construction industry. Mike’s diversity of construction knowledge ranges from Class A high-rise office structures to pole-built warehouse units, and from block and mortar buildings to a mega-store power center. It is a direct result of this multi-faceted experience that Mr. Saab is able to recognize and realize the full potential of each Glenmark property. Mike is directly responsible for oversight of all field operations, construction projects, budget development, construction schedules, contract negotiations, and management of project teams.
Since the 2006 company expansion, Mr. Saab has vigorously maintained both his titles and ensuing duties. Mike is native to Morgantown and is married to wife Tammy. They have two sons.
